Welcome to Tripomatic. The website allows you to discover places around the world and create travel itineraries.

Creating a Trip

  1. Go to maps.tripomatic.com
  2. Click on Trip in the top menu
  3. Click Plan a New Trip
  4. Search for your desired destination
  5. Name your trip and choose dates
  6. Click Create trip to start planning

Working with the Map

The map shows places you might want to visit. Click any marker to see details about a place.

Filter places by category:

  • Click the search bar to see category filters
  • Select a category to show only those places on the map

Add a place to your trip:

  1. Click a place on the map
  2. Click Add to trip
  3. Choose which day to add it to

Save a place for later:

  • Click the heart icon to add it to your Favorites

Using the Shortlist

The Shortlist is for places you’re considering but haven’t added to your itinerary yet.

  1. Click Trip in the navigation
  2. Scroll down to see your Shortlist
  3. Drag places from the Shortlist to a day when you’re ready

Custom Places

To create a custom place:

  1. Click anywhere on the map, or search for an address or GPS coordinates (e.g., 49.232883, 16.572891)
  2. Click Add to trip or Add to Shortlist
  3. Edit the name and details as needed

Itinerary

Switch between days using the day tabs in your trip panel. Each day shows:

  • The places you’ve added
  • Routes between places
  • Estimated travel times

Click on a transit segment to change the transport mode (walking, driving, bike, public transit, etc.).

Save & Export

Sign in to save your trip and sync it across devices. Premium subscribers can:

  • Download a PDF guide of your trip
  • Export to GPX for navigation devices
  • Export to KML for Google Earth

Click on trip settings (gear icon) to access export options.

Download the Mobile App

Get the Tripomatic app for iOS or Android. Your trips sync automatically when you sign in.
